How to play Fidaki

Fidaki is an online multiplayer snake game. Collect food, grow your snake and try to survive in the arena.

Your first round

1. Open the game on your phone or computer. Keep the suggested nickname or enter your own.
2. Pick a colour for your snake and press Play.
3. Steer towards food and leave room around other snakes. When your round ends, press Play again.

Mouse and keyboard controls

Move your mouse pointer in the direction you want to turn, and hold the mouse button to boost. With a keyboard, turn using the left and right arrows or A and D. Hold the up arrow, W or Space to boost.

Touch controls on your phone

In joystick mode, drag under your thumb to turn and hold the ⚡ button to boost. You can choose touch-to-steer in Settings: your snake turns towards your finger. Hold that finger still or add a second finger to boost.

If the game asks you to rotate your phone, turn it sideways to play.

Tips for surviving longer

• Collect food before chasing. Give your snake time to grow.
• Leave room to turn. Your round ends if your head hits another snake's body.
• Boost in short bursts. Boosting spends mass, so save it for moments when you need it.
• Avoid head-on collisions. The smaller snake loses; when their masses are close, both can lose.

Do I need to install anything?

Fidaki opens in your browser. You need an internet connection for online play. Choose the game language from the language selector in the menu.
